The Tyndall National Institute
The Tyndall National Institute at UCC is Ireland’s national micro and nano -electronics research centre. Working with the PM Group, we were nominated as the mechanical services specialist to this project consisting of micro and nano electronics labs, class 100 and class 10,000 cleanrooms and associated plant areas in a 5,000m² building extension that was awarded an SEAI silver award.
Cork Co Council Offices and Library Building
The project involved the refurbishment of the existing 1960’s tower block, a six storey extension for a new concourse and council chamber along with a further 6 story 4450m2 extension for a library building. Working with Arup and BAM, we were nominated as the mechanical services specialist on this landmark building project.
Limerick Co Council Office and Chamber
The project involved building of a new six storey council offices building, a new concourse and council chamber for Limerick county council.
Working with Buro Happold and Sisk.
We were nominated as the mechanical services specialist on this landmark building project.
Clare Co Council Offices and Chamber
The project involved building of a new four storey, 8,600sqm council offices building for 300 staff, a new concourse and council chamber as well as meeting rooms, staff canteen, a laboratory, and 320 parking spaces for Clare county council.
Working with H J Lyons Architects we were nominated as the mechanical services specialist on this landmark building project.
UCC Western Gateway Building
UCC Western Gateway building on western road cork houses the department of Bio-Chemistry, the Biological Services Unit (BSU) and Cork Cancer Research labs.
Working with Mott McDonald, RKD and Walls Construction we were nominated as the mechanical services specialist for the fitout of 2 floors of this complex and service intensive building.
UCC Mardyke Arena Extension
Mardyke Arena Health & Leisure Centre.
The project consisted of a 3 storey extension to the existing Mardyke Arena on the Western Road in Cork.
This extension provided 3750m2 of additional sporting facilities including an indoor running track, gym, hydrotherapy suite, changing facilities and office accommodation.
